I have a very distinctive laugh.

At least, that’s what people tell me. I laugh all the time. Spend more than 10 minutes with me and I guarantee you’ll hear it at least once. At least. How could I not be happy? I’m doing what I love to do. I’m constantly surrounded by couples that are in love on one of the happiest days of their lives. Plus, I have a ridiculously wonderful husband that I’m pretty madly in love with myself.

I dig life. I love people and photography, and I have the best career in the world. I get to photograph the day when two people who are so much in love decide to announce to the world their commitment for one another. The day that they say, “This is it; I’ve found my one; let’s make it official.” I get to capture that emotion, the laughter and the tears and the nervous butterflies. I get to capture your first moments as husband and wife, and then a huge celebration surrounded by your friends and family.

You’d laugh a lot too if you were me. I can’t believe I get to do this for a living.

I’m a Pittsburgh-based wedding photographer specializing in creative wedding photojournalism. I live with my husband and two little dogs in Pittsburgh’s North Side. I think life is too short to take yourself too seriously. I have an irrational hatred of spiders. I love road trips, great textures, Jesus, Betsy-Ann chocolate truffles, traveling, climbing trees, red wine, hammocks, making pictures, large bodies of water, spontaneous laughter, and anything with pumpkin as a main ingredient.
