Last Saturday, following the Mehndi, was Aishah and Adnan's wedding ceremony. I was fortunate enough to have
Jaci Clark along again as my second shooter. It was a gorgeous day all around- filled with lots of love and emotion, a few tears, plenty of beautiful details, and warm and gracious friends and family.

Aishah traveled to Pakistan in December to meet with tailors and choose what she would wear during their wedding events. The outfit shown on the left was sewn by hand for her and took five months to create- the embroidery and beadwork detailing were stunningly intricate. It was a work of art. Of course, you need a fabulous pair of shoes to complement an outfit like this, and these
Miu Miu lovelies made me swoon.

Adnan receives a gift from his grandmother during the Sehra Bundi. She flew in from Pakistan to attend the wedding.

Aishah and Adnan got married under the rotunda of the
Pennsylvanian, which made for a beautifully dramatic location.

Aren't they a great looking couple?
Susie Popovich did Aishah's makeup.
